Nipun worked as a silicon design engineer in the Advanced Sensor Technology Group under the Mixed Reality team in Microsoft, Mountain View, CA. He evaluated the noise properties of Microsoft’s advanced quantum dot image sensor. These sensors will be used for military applications for near-infrared and short-wave infrared imaging.
