Hulbert E. Glimp
H. Earl Glimp received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in January 1966. His career has primarily been in various energy industries. In the electric utility industry, he held staff engineering and supervisory positions in the power plant area. He advanced to Vice President, Engineering Operations of Transok, an Intra-state natural gas pipeline company with lines in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. He has served as an expert witness before state courts and various state and federal agencies during his career and as a private consultant.
During his career he served in various officer positions of several industry organizations and as Director and President of The Petroleum Club of Tulsa.
Currently, he is an active partner in an independent oil and gas production company and cattle ranch.
For over four decades, he has been a financial supporter of OSU, CEAT and the Electrical and Computer Engineering Program. His desire is these contributions and the Earl & Carolyn Glimp Professorship for ECE at OSU will be a part of increasing the stature and quality of the ECE program at OSU and in the academic and commercial world.
