Kent Powers graduated from OSU in 1976 and spent the next 33 years in the oil business.
Before retiring in 2009, he was the General Manager of Terminals and Pipelines for
CITGO Petroleum Corporation, where he managed 300 employees and was instrumental in
changing the terminal business model, resulting in a 100% increase in revenue. Kent
is a native Tulsan where he currently enjoys retirement life with his wife. He is
the President of the CITGO Alumni Group and serves on the Oxley Nature Center Association
Board. He is also an active volunteer with Tulsa Habitat for Humanity.
