Tom received his BSME in 1966 and MSIEM in 1968 from OSU. He spent 35 years in the
consulting profession and is a retired partner from Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He served
as the Chief Operating Officer of the firm’s West Region Consulting Practice of over
1,500 professionals, and Chairman of the Global High Technology Industry Consulting
practice. He directed large global projects ranging from the formulation of corporate
strategy and the design and implementation of business processes to the implementation
of technology systems for the planning and control of operations. One of his clients
went on to win the coveted Deming Prize, awarded by the Union of Japanese Scientists
and Engineers. His clients included Florida Power & Light, Northrop, IBM, Allergan,
Silicon Graphics, Intel, Hewlett Packard, Sun Microsystems, Western Digital, Microsoft,
and Compaq. Currently, he serves on the Leadership Council of the OSU Alumni Association
and is listed in Who’s Who in America.
