Favorite Quote: “There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly.“ - R. Buckminster Fuller

A fact not everyone knows about you: "For five summers I worked as detasseler in Nebraska cornfields. A detasseler is someone who removes the top part of a cornstalk so that it will crossbreed with a different variety of corn.”

Why did you choose OSU? “I chose OSU because it offered so many STEM majors. When I was a high school senior, I thought that I wanted to be an engineer, but I had no idea which type of engineering was the right fit for me. Through the CEAT Summer Bridge program, I was able to learn about all of our CEAT majors and I discovered that architecture was my calling!”

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen CEAT students? “Check your email and Canvas page often! You'll get a ton of messages and if you don't stay on top of it, you will lose track of assignments and deadlines."
