Welcome to the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering!  Each semester our faculty and staff create exceptional, hands-on, intellectually stimulating learning opportunities for our students.  The research and teaching expertise of our faculty along with state-of-the-art undergraduate and research laboratories drive these experiences.   We invite you to meet our staff, get to know our faculty and visit our laboratories.

Aerospace Engineering at OSU

In aerospace engineering at OSU, you will study the science and technology of flight and learn about design of air, land and sea vehicles in a stimulating learning and research environment. Mechanical Engineering at OSU

Students in Mechanical Engineering at OSU endure intensive academic programs and gain hands-on experience with exciting projects, preparing them for careers after graduation. Whether students are battling robots, working on cars or other capstone projects, they are able to take theories learned in the classroom and apply them to real-world situations.

ASME Student Section at OSU wins the OSU-Tulsa Student Organization of the Year award

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Student Section at OSU-Tulsa won the 2024 Student Organization of the Year award.

OSU students win 2nd place in the Attached Housing division for the Solar Decathlon Design Challenge

12 students from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology and the College of Education and Human Sciences won 2nd place in the Attached Housing division for the Solar Decathlon Design Challenge.

ASHRAE's President Ginger Scoggins visits CEAT

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers’ (ASHRAE’s) President Ginger Scoggins visited the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) on Tuesday, April 2nd. 2024. While here, she visited some of the labs in CEAT, where she met with students and learned about their Center for Integrated Building Systems (CIBS) projects.
