About Kendall:

I am a third generation Oklahoma State graduate and I love being able to share this experience with so many of my friends and family. I even met my husband here! One of my favorite parts about my job is helping my students discover their goals and passions and how to achieve them.

Hometown: Towson, Maryland

High School: Towson High School

College: Oklahoma State University

Degrees:

  • BA: Media and Strategic Communications: Public Relations
    • Minor:  International Relations and Policy
  • MS: Higher Education and Student Affairs

Hobbies: I love reading, traveling, concerts, going to different sporting events (football and baseball are my favorites), and taking my Australian Shepherd, Annie on walks around Boomer Lake.

Favorite Music: I mostly love singer/songwriter music, but here are some of my no skip artists: George Strait, Noah Kahan, Harry Styles, The Band CAMINO, Tors, James Bay

Favorite Movie: When Harry Met Sally, You’ve Got Mail, and The Holiday

Favorite Book: A Thousand Splendid Suns – Khaled Hosseini

Something not everyone knows about you: I wasn’t able to get my driver’s license until I was 20. I’m also dyslexic and wasn’t diagnosed until my last semester of graduate school.

Favorite Quote: “I am learning every day to allow the space between where I am and where I want to be to inspire me.” Tracee Ellis Ross

Best Advice for College Students: College is all about balance. Go to class, do your own work, but don’t forget to also have fun and make the most of the time you have while you’re here!

Favorite OSU memory: Winning homecoming sweepstakes my freshmen and senior year! It was so rewarding to have all our hard work pay off.
