I grew up in a small town in Kansas. I have family in both Kansas and Nebraska and during holidays or vacation times, I often go back to visit them. I have several years’ experience working in education and enjoy working with and getting to know students.

Something not everyone knows about you: I spent around 7 years teaching English at a university in China.

Best Advice for College Students:
- Go to class, get involved, take advantage of the resources that OSU provides, make the most of your time at OSU
- Try to keep in mind that everyone’s life journey is different.
Favorite OSU memory:
- Walking around the campus for the first time after interviewing for a job at OSU and later being hired by OSU.
- Playing Faculty/Staff softball in the summers.
- Meeting new students during orientation, getting to know them through the years, and then seeing them graduate.
